Dr. Eddie Taylor, a licensed Clinical Psychologist and author, will provide an overview of the empowerment and awakening that spurred the creation of African American organizations from pre-Emancipation Proclamation to the Civil Rights era. He will address the need of these organizations to re-awaken their members to continue this effort in the 21st century.
