Rendering in Charcoal by John Fleck

John Fleck, a talented artist in a variety of media, will share his techniques for depicting still lifes and landscapes in charcoal. Having begun his artistic career as an illustrator for children’s educational publishing, he currently focuses on fine art through drawing, painting and teaching (johnfleckart.com). He finds his inspiration principally in the natural world. The second half of class will be dedicated to working from natural objects in a still life for all to participate. Supplies will be provided, but please bring a kneaded eraser. $10 visitor fee. The BAA welcomes new members, beginner to experienced artists, or anyone just curious about art.
