Reduction Printing Workshop

In linoleum block printing, a reduction print is a multicolored print created from a single block. The first color is printed, more of the image is carved away (the block is “reduced”), and the next color is printed on top of the previous print, and so on. In this workshop, Carrie will break down the process, teach how to plan the layers in an image, and share some tricks for registering the paper with ease. Previous experience with block printing is helpful but not necessary! All skill levels welcome!
