A Swedish immigrant’s story of coming to America in the 1920’s, facing hardship during the Great Depression and developing resilience and overcoming adversity.
"My Maja: A Grandson's Tribute" weaves tradition and truth into an exciting story of the life of a Swedish immigrant to America in the 1920's. Dr. Donald Grossnickle, former Assistant Principal of Addison Trail High School, traced his grandmother's story of leaving home as a young woman, marriage, loss and hardship during the Great Depression and subsequent resilience.
