Mixed Media & Collage Experimental Adventure with Tania Blanco

By experimenting with mixed media and collage, first the workshop participants will make a few of their own decorated papers using a variety of techniques. Then the artists will discover the magic of layering materials: combining collage papers, paint and other elements into a progression of layers and textures. Participants will explore multiple ways of adding cryptic marks and dimension to create a finished 6×6 piece of art. A second piece of art on 10×10 canvas will be started and can be completed later to be either abstract or representational.
