Mix Up Your Media with Beads

The focus of this workshop is to expose artists to different ways of incorporating beads into mixed media artworks. We will try our hands at bead stringing and coiling, bead mosaic techniques, and an introduction to beadweaving. Artist Julie Mars will also provide tips on using bead elements on canvas, glass, and other grounds. The program includes a demo and “hands on” time for members to embellish with the bead techniques that are explored during the workshop.
