Kreative Kard Kolaj

Using playing cards, nature pictures from magazines/books, and glue, Artist LuEllen Joy Giera will help us to: compile ephemera into beautiful pieces of art, enjoy an enhanced sense of calm, experience the joy of creating, and learn that everyone can create art – including you! LuEllen will provide materials for each participant to create several kolaj kards. Optional: upon completion interested persons will be provided with contact information should they wish to participate in collaborating with other artists on their own time in the future. $10 visitor fee. LuEllen Joy Giera is a published international artist, founder of planetcollage.net and co-founder of the Midwest Collage Society. She presented at the first Kolaj Fest in New Orleans in July 2018. She earned her Certificate in Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2005. LuEllen is a teacher and curator, and she provides many art related activities including in-home painting parties.
