Jenny Appleseed: Lost Lore and Tall Tales

The Addison Historical Society and the Addison Public Library are proud to present “Jenny Appleseed:  Lost Lore and Tall Tales” on Saturday, March 9, 2024  from 10 a.m-11:15a.mm. at the library.  Historical presenter Jessica Michna will portray Jenny Appleseed, the fictional sister of Johnny Appleseed, and take children K-3 and their families on a journey through American folklore characters such as Rip Van Winkle, Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyan, and of course, her “sibling” Johnny Appleseed who was also known as John Chapman.  This free program  includes the presentation, a  craft activity and photo opportunity with Jenny. Pre-registration through the Library is required.
