Young Artists are encouraged to come to the museum to create art work which celebrates Illinois’ 200th birthday.
Children aged 7-15 years are welcome to attend on a drop-in basis, no registration required. All art work will be based on Illinois reference material (i.e state flower, state bird, Abraham Lincoln, 1818-2018, the state flag, etc.) and will be created at the museum, and will be retained for a Fall exhibit at the museum gallery. All artists materials will be provided.
