In celebration of the upcoming US Senior Women’s Open at Chicago Golf Club July 12th-15th, the Wheaton Public Library is proud to host a joint golf exhibit between The Wheaton Historic Commission and the USGA Museum!
Located on the main floor of the library in the Arts and Culture Center, this exhibit highlights the critical role women and Wheaton played in the creation of professional golf. Wheaton was a center of golf activity, with prominent members creating items that would become the modern club, pin, tee, and golf ball. July 12th-15th Chicago Golf Club is hosting the U.S. Senior Women's Tournament. The USGA (United States Golf Association) will have information tables at the library to answer questions about the tournament, recruit volunteers, and show off the trophy! If you're a golfer, don't miss out!
