Experience an eight Steinway grand piano and multimedia concert showcasing a variety of music for multiple pianos: 30 area piano teachers and 250 student pianists.
One highlight of the event will be the World Premiere of “Sweet Salt Creek Suite,” a three-movement work for 16 pianists, featuring 2 accordionists, commissioned by the Salt Creek Music Teachers Association, with composer Amy Jo Sawyer, present at the concerts.
Other featured pieces written for piano ensemble include favorites such as “Allegro” from Eine Kleine Nacht Musik, “Play A Simple Melody”, “In My Merry Oldsmobile” and “Funeral March of a Marionette.”
