Gallery Talk: In Pursuit of Happiness Exhibit

Join us at the Elmhurst History Museum when we welcome Exhibit Consultant Sandy Denninger. Sandy will lead participants through highlights of the “In Pursuit of Happiness: Immigrants in Our Communities” exhibit.

The gallery talk includes exclusive access to museum galleries while hearing highlights about the experiences of area immigrants and their contributions to our shared history.

Exhibit Themes:

The exhibit will consider a number of different topics related to the immigration theme, including:

  • The path to U.S. citizenship including essential documentation, language barriers, prejudice and more, featuring an actual citizenship test for museum visitors to try.

Free parking is available in the Museum parking lot and on the street near the Elmhurst History Museum.
