Free Concerts in the Park: The Limited Edition Big Band

The Addison Center for the Arts is launching another Free Concerts in the Park series with an outstanding lineup of bands. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your favorite beverage.  Food will be available.

July 10: The Limited Edition Big Band

The Limited Edition Big Band has been delighting audiences in the Chicago area for more than 25 years. With a stunning library of over 1100 charts, these musicians cover the full spectrum of big band swing, jazz, and dance music.

Limited Edition plays a variety of music from the great touring bands such as Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Stan Kenton and Woody Herman to classics by Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Benny Goodman  Many classic charts have been refreshed by arrangers like Bill Holman, Gordon Goodwin and Frank Mantooth.
