Figurative/Portrait Watercolor Workshop

Tony Armanderiz will conduct a quick demo to get things going in the morning. Students will then work on their own version in full color. Artists will need to bring their own supplies for painting. Main basic supplies needed:

# 6 and 12 Round brushes and 1” flat brush for most of the painting. Smaller detail brushes or larger brushes are fine also. Pigments you will need: (Cools and warms) Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Scarlet Lake/Winsor Red, Cadmium Orange, Sepia, Cerulean Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Payne’s Grey, Cold Press (preferred) watercolor paper, 140 or 300lb. ¼ or ½ sheet.

This is a general schedule outline. Students may also bring their own material to work from.
