Encaustic paints and mediums are a versatile binder for collage and assemblage. Artist Sarah Rehmer has been working in the materials for 16 years and teaching for the last 11. For this demo, she will show a number of ways of working with encaustic and paper to create works with optical depth, luminosity, and a bit of sculptural depth to the surface.
Admission is free.
