Edible Theology

The Sociology and Anthropology Department at Wheaton College presents “Edible Theology” a lecture addressing the importance of food in the story of the Gospel and how it impacts the ways we understand eating today by Wheaton Graduate and author Kendall Vanderslice ’13.

While at Wheaton, Kendall began engaging questions of food and faith. Interested in the social dynamics of eating together, she studied food at Boston University, where she received her MLA in Gastronomy. She also holds an MTS from Duke Divinity School. Her first book, We Will Feast: Rethinking Dinner, Worship, and the Community of God released this past May.
