EAG Artist Talk | Robert Lee Fritz

Join the Elmhurst Artist Guild for a free artist talk by Robert Lee Fritz. Fritz will discuss working with hot glass--using videos and examples of his work. When he moved to the Chicago area in 1974 there were no hot glass studios so he began building his Lombard studio in 1975.  His work includes cast, hand-blown, and glass slumping techniques to create crystal sculptures and functional ware on which he often carves silhouettes of cranes, herons, hawks, and other midwestern images.
