DuPage New Horizons Band Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The New Horizons Band-DuPage celebrates 20 years of music making at its Spring Concert. The concert will include standard repertoire, plus band favorites from years past. As a national chain of music ensembles around the country, New Horizons Music teaches adults ages 50 to, well over 50, how to play and perform music. New Horizons DuPage hails adult musicians from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs to perform under the baton of founding director, Maryann Flock. The band’s themed concerts are always a joyous musical adventure for the audience. New Horizons consists of several ensembles that will be performing on this 20^th anniversary concert, including a German polka band and a jazz ensemble. The lively performance is Saturday, April 21^st at 3:00 p.m. – Benet Academy Auditorium in St. Daniel Hall (east entrance). Light refreshments to follow. Admission is free.
