The Downers Grove Choral Society, with Artistic Director John Rakes, presents For “Love of Song.” The ensemble Ragazze of Spirito! Singers will join DGCS in this concert.
The Downers Grove Choral Society, under the direction of Artistic Director John Patrick Rakes, continues its exciting 58th Season with “For Love of Song.” This concert will feature Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs, James Mulholland’s Four Robert Burns Ballads as well as other songs of love. The Downers Grove Choral Society will be joined by the Ragazze of Spirito! Singers. There will be a pre-concert discussion at 3:15 p.m., followed by the 4:00 p.m. concert.
