The Downers Grove Choral Society, with Artistic Director John Patrick Rakes, begins its 61st Concert Season on Sunday, December 8, 2019 with “Holiday Baroque”
Holiday Baroque will feature Handel’s Messiah, 60th anniversary performance, Vivaldi's Magnificat in G minor, Corelli's Christmas Concerto," from the Concerto Grosso in G minor and Joy to the World! as arranged by John Rutter at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5211 Carpenter Street, Downers Grove, There will be a pre-concert discussion at 3:15 p.m., followed by the 4:00 p.m. concert.

ADMISSION INFO
Concert tickets in advance are $20, $15 Senior and $10 Student. At the door they are $22, $17 Senior and $12 Student. Season tickets (one for each of three concerts) are available prior to the Holiday Baroque concert at $48, $36 Senior and $24 Student. Tickets are available from DGCS members, from the website, by telephone, and at Anderson’s Bookshop, 5112 Main Street, Downers Grove.
