Downers Grove Art Walk

Arts DuPage Month Perk: The Art Walk was created as a part of the Art DuPage Month celebration.

Meet local artists at selected downtown Downers Grove locations. Look for the dots and signs at participating retailers.

After the Walk, please visit the Weathered Art Exhibition from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Upstairs@St. Andrew’s, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1125 Franklin Street, Downers Grove

Inspired by the work of artist Vivian Suter and her recent exhibit at The Art Institute of Chicago, Weathered Art focuses on the idea of creating art on fabric panels that are then “weathered” out in the elements to complete the artistic process. The exhibit features the work of 12 artists from the Chicagoland area who have each been invited to create a work of art on large fabric panels using a medium of their choice. The exhibit will also feature over 100 small fabric panels created by members of our community.
