Founded by legendary trumpeter Jesús Alemañy, the all-star orchestra celebrates the legacy of Cuban music in dance styles from around the world. Their sizzling up-tempo tunes full of swaggering horn charts and wild polyrhythms recall the vintage big-band sound, traditional rumba, cha-cha and even lesser known rhythms developed by the Cuban jazz greats of the ‘40s.
