Cosmic Blueprint: Archetypes in Contemporary Art

Cosmic Blueprint is an exhibition and collaboration with the Illinois Poet Society, Poets and Patrons of Chicago, artists from across the hemisphere, and the College of DuPage. Over 50 archetypes will be exhibited along with a writing by each artist. The Illinois Poet Society and Poets and Patrons of Chicago were given copies of the artworks and writings to develop poems for each work. Curated by Jennifer Hereth, professor emerita, the College of DuPage and the inventor of “The Teenage Archetype Carddeck,” a threaputic tool used across the globe, published in the United States and Europe.

An artist reception is scheduled for Saturday, October 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
