Eddie Stevens 3

The Eddie Stevens 3 was formed by three veterans of the Chicago jazz scene in an effort to bring you classic swinging trio music that is right for any occasion. We hope to bring you sounds that will conjure up memories of some of the classic chamber jazz groups of the past, such as the Red Norvo Trio, Jimmy Giuffre 3 and the early Nat Cole Trio. This is music that is intricate yet swings like mad. Don’t worry, we also like to put our spin on some more contemporary material, as well as our unique take on famous Classical Themes. If the occasion calls for it the Eddie Stevens 3 can be expanded to feature some of the most talented vocal stylists and tasteful drummers on the scene today.
