Members of the Chicago Symphony and the Lyric Opera will be playing the music of Schubert, Boccherini & Beethoven
The CPC Concert Series Committee is pleased to announce our third concert of the 2020-2021 season, entitled “Chicago Strings,” on Sunday, April 11 at 3:00 pm, featuring John Sharp, principal cellist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO), his wife Liba Shacht, first violinist in the Lyric Opera, and Weijing Wang, violist in the CSO. Admission is free; a Goodwill Offering will be collected.
The Concert Series Committee is thrilled that we are able to present a concert in a safe setting for limited in-person attendance as well as via livestream for viewing at home. All appropriate safety procedures will be carried out, including the requirement of wearing a face covering at all times, and the assigning of socially distanced seating.
