In this demo, Lyndsay will be covering the basics of traditional botanical art in watercolor, focusing on color mixing and creating realistic form and texture.
Lyndsay Murphree is a botanical artist, working primarily in colored pencil and watercolor. She holds a Masters from the University of Chicago, certification in the botanical arts from the Chicago Botanic Garden and is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists. She teaches in various institutions in and around Chicago.
