Basic Design in Collage

Collage Sketchbook class is designed to zero in on the basic elements and principles of design. This class will help you become more aware of your design skill so you can solve design situations within the creative process of collage art. All assignments will be done in a sketchbook format using simple art materials, glue stick, paint, brushes, scissors, and magazines. Each week you will be given examples, instruction, and assignments. The object is to keep it very simple and not overly complicated so you can see each element and principle separately. We will complete the class with a simple compositional assignment.
