BAMtheatre "NEWSIES Jr" Two Week Summer Camp (Ages 7-16)

When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right. Students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the performance experience in this camp that meets over two weeks.

BROADWAY BOUND Experience – This camp style will take place over 6 days, and provide students with an energetic introductory experience of putting on a musical! Within the week, campers will audition and rehearse a condensed mini musical! On the final day of camp, family and friends will gather to watch the performance! The performance will be produced in BAM’s traditional summer camp style, with very minimal sets, props, and costumes. Some roles may be double cast.
