Art Demo: Abstract Mixed Media Collage

The national award-winning artist and co-founder of the Midwest Collage Society, Laura Lein-Svencner, will share the process of papermaking, assembling collages with a tack iron, and applying image transfers. As a self-taught artist, Laura has been working with paper and collage for 21 years, focusing mainly on composition, layering, color, and the creation of depth. Her works have been reproduced in many books and publications including North Light Publishing, The Artist Magazine, and The Professional Artist. This demonstration is a must-see if you are a beginner or intermediate collage artist.

Laura’s work will be on display May 1st-May 29th, 2018 during Library hours.
