AMANDA VINICKY HEADLINES CIVIC AWARENESS SERIES

The Robert R. McCormick House at Cantigny Park, the League of Women Voters of Wheaton, and the League of Women Voters of Central Kane County, present Amanda Vinicky, Illinois government and politics correspondent for WTTW-TV.

Vinicky’s remarks will focus on current happenings in the Illinois General Assembly and the upcoming primary elections. She frequently reports on these topics and other statewide issues as a segment host on WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight.”

Vinicky joined “Chicago Tonight” in 2017, after spending a decade as the Statehouse Bureau Chief for NPR Illinois and the Illinois Public Radio network. She also co-hosted WSEC-TV’s “CapitolView,” and was a regular analyst on the “State Week” ... view more »
