After Hours Presents Anim8 Student Film Festival

After Hours Film Society presents the Anim8 Student Film Festival on Monday, October 15 at 7:30. Please join us as we showcase the talents of student filmmakers from around the world at the After Hours Film Society’s 2016 Say It In Eight Student Film Festival. Over 115 films were submitted by students from 16 countries around the world. Eligible entries were 8 minutes or less in length and had to meet specific criteria in order to be considered. Film educators and professionals were then recruited to serve as our judges. These highly qualified individuals screened each and every film and selected their top choices. What we will see at this special After Hours program is the best in the categories of fiction, non-fiction and animation/experimental, based on level of education, from grammar school though graduate.

Winners are invited to receive their awards at our program and to be available to answer audience questions regarding their film, their background, their goals and ambitions.
