Addison Historical Society Program: Preserving Your Family Heirlooms

Have you inherited family photographs, documents and artifacts and are not sure how to preserve them ? This program will look at the environmental factors which cause organic materials to deteriorate and suggests ways to mitigate them.

Family heirlooms are made of organic materials which deteriorate over time.  The best one can do is to " slow down" the process.  At the October general meeting of the Addison Historical Society, Susan English, Historical Museum Coordinator for the Village of Addison will discuss  the different natural and man made environmental factors which cause deterioration of family heirlooms and suggest ways to preserve these items.

This FREE program will be held  in Room 1301 A-B of Addison Village
