Evenings at the Wheaton College Artist Series feature world-renowned performers sharing their artistic genius in one of Wheaton’s unique concert venues–epic Edman Chapel, or our intimate new 650-seat Armerding Concert Hall.

9.15.2023: Ballet 5:8 is a professional dance company that has earned critical acclaim for its innovative choreography, technical precision, and inspiring storytelling, captivating audiences with every performance.

9.22.2023: The National Chorus of Korea, under the direction of Euijoong Yoon is renowned for its exceptional musical talent, captivating performances, and dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Korea.

11.13.2023: Midori with the Festival Strings of Lucerne – Midori “violin superstar” performs with the remarkable Festival Strings of Lucerne, Daniel Dodds, music director, in a premium performance that spotlights their globally distinguished talents.

01.20.2024: Picosa Ensemble – Picosa is an acclaimed chamber music ensemble that has earned recognition for exceptional musicianship, dynamic stage presence, and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity through music. In Chicago and around the country, Picosa has delighted audiences of all ages and cultural traditions.

3.11.2024: Songs In Flight – Shawn Okpebholo, GRAMMY nominated composer, presents “Songs in Flight,” his breathtaking composition performed by world-renowned artists. This powerful work is inspired by “Freedom on the Move,” a database comprising over 30,000 newspaper advertisements placed by North American enslavers to aid in the capture of runaway slaves.

3.23.2024: Handel’s Messiah – Handel’s “Messiah” is a masterpiece of classical music that has stood the test of time, captivating audiences for centuries with its grandeur, emotional depth, and through Handel’s exquisite choral and orchestral writing. Come hear and see John William Trotter’s semi-staged version as a highlight of the Lenten season.
