The library is looking for talented artists to create literature-themed artworks to hang near the library’s fiction collection.

There are four entry categories based on book genres:
• Mystery
• Science Fiction
• Graphic Novels
• Classic Literature.

Artists are to capture the spirit of a genre using any visual style they wish. Final art works must fit on 30” w x 40” h canvas. Winners receive a final canvas and a prize package from Dick Blick Art Materials.

Sketches and mock-ups accepted September 1 to November 1
Submit a scan of your work to courtney@wheatonlibrary.org or bring your entry to the library's Circulation Desk.

A panel of judges from the Wheaton Public Library and The DuPage Art League will announce contest winners on November 18.
Final pieces must be submitted by February 25, 2019. The artist’s name and contact information will be displayed along with the artwork.
