The USGA (United States Golf Association) has selected the Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton to host its first-ever U.S. Senior Women’s Open. To celebrate this event, the City of Wheaton, local businesses and the City of Wheaton Fine and Cultural Arts Commission are providing 3-foot in diameter fiberglass balls to our sponsors. Each ball will be painted by a local artist and displayed from May 31 to August 31 at sites designated by our sponsors. The balls will be the property of our sponsors.

Women artists who volunteer to accept the assignment to paint the balls will be provided acrylic paint, brushes and a secure venue where the work will be completed. They will be recognized at the display sight of their ball, in promotional materials and at events.

A sponsor may or may not wish to consult with the artist prior to the execution of the painting. In the spirit of fun and community, the artist and the sponsor should cooperate. Remember, artists have the expertise and are donating their time and talents. The sponsors are making this event possible.

If you as a woman artist are interested in sharing your talent for this project, please submit your website address and/or images and short bio to:
