City of Aurora Art Division Calls for Collage Art

Aurora Public Art is seeking work that uses the principles of collage.

DEADLINE: Monday, April 25, 2022

ELIGIBILITY: No residency or regional requirements. Artists are responsible for getting work to and from the gallery

TIMELINE OF EXHIBITION ENTITLED “ReMIX”:

• Entry Deadline: Monday, April 25
• Notice of Acceptance: Monday, May 2
• Artwork Drop-Off: Wednesday, May 25-Saturday, May 28
• Exhibit start date: Friday, June 3
• Opening Reception: Friday, June 3rd, 6-9 p.m.
• Closing Reception/Catalog Release Party/Workshop: Saturday, July 23rd, 1-3 p.m.
• Exhibition end date: Saturday, July 23
• Artwork Pick-Up: Wednesday, July 27-Saturday, July 30

EXHIBITION LOCATION: Third Floor Gallery
20 E. Downer Place, Aurora IL 60505

REGULAR GALLERY HOURS: Wednesdays-Fridays 12-4 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

OTHER: Exhibition catalogs will be published and distributed at the Closing Reception which will be a catalog release party with a live DJ, and a workshop.
Exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
