Call-for-Artists: Towards a Flourishing Future Exhibit

Anawim Arts is looking for submissions of visual art that fit the theme: Towards a Flourishing Future. The art pieces will be included in an outdoor tented exhibit of art as part of the celebration of the Wheaton Franciscan’s Anniversary Event. Entries should reflect the Franciscan dedication to working for “justice, peace, and integrity of creation.” The art exhibit is one facet of an event that will also feature guided tours, live music, creative activities, and food.

To enter artwork, please submit up to three pieces in photo files such as a jpeg format. Include a statement about the relationship of your piece(s) to the show’s theme as well as a short bio. Email all entry info to anawimarts@gmail.com

When possible, arrangements will be made for the original artwork to be exhibited. For long-distance and international submissions, a photograph of the original work will be displayed.

The deadline for submission is May 1, 2022.
