Summer Place Theatre, Naperville’s community theatre since 1966, is pleased to announce auditions for the first production of our 52nd season, BLEACHER BUMS, conceived by Joe Mantegna and written by The Organic Theatre Company. Here are the Bleacher Bum characters: (Ages may be adjusted)

– Melody: An attractive and serious sun-worshipper.
– Greg: A savvy, funny, and gentle man in his 20’s. He has been blind from birth.
– Zig: A large man in his 50’s. He can bellow and chew on a cigar simultaneously.
– Decker: A successful, energetic businessman, ~40 years old.
– Richie: In his 20’s. Quite the nerd.
– Marvin: A professional gambler, 30 or so. Not a terribly sympathetic character.
