Marilyn Dale

Artist for Hire ; Graphic Arts ; Lecturer/Discussion Leader

Marilyn Dale is a fine artist, art instructor and award winning painter. She also is an accomplished graphic designer and marketing professional. Marilyn is talented in oil, watercolor and pastel, from traditional portraiture through abstraction. For many years, she taught art for North Central College’s community education department and previously for the Naperville Art League, where she served as president and board member.

Marilyn has a Certificate of Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MBA from the University of Illinois. Marilyn has designed large-scale liturgical fabric and stained glass works and had several works published. She has been commissioned by large companies and individuals, enjoying working on pieces of personal significance to the owner.

Describe the services you offer:

I love a commission, whether in fine or graphic art. I have completed numerous portraits of children and adults to solidify memories. I am well-versed in super-large scale pieces that combine my custom art with digital work, typically symbolic imagery bordering on abstract for churches and other venues, combining my fine and graphic art skils to have 14 foot banners and 25 foot hangings created for special occasions. Much of my work, from landscapes through abstraction has been purchased for corporate collections. I am also well-versed in graphic design, from logos through white paper layouts.
