A truly captivating scene from the wild, this painting is wrought with density of images and meaning. Capturing a scene amidst a cluster of tightly-packed trees and bushes, this picture restlessly conveys volumes. The iridescence of colors ranging from creamy pinks to tuscany/ochre tones, punctuated with spurts of jungle green maintains an aura of concentrated diversity. Artistic brushstrokes add yet another layer of texture to the painting by breaking unity of a solid color into millions. While the painting is overall created in pastel shades, drooping branches of pine trees painted in deep green add further depth to this marvelous depiction of Lyman wood.
