Diane Coronado-Campbell is the Founder and Artistic Director of Ritmo Flamenco in Naperville.  She is a graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago and of National-Louis University in Evanston.

In 2011 she opened her studio and began her dance ensemble in Naperville.

Her Flamenco training began in Chicago under the direction of Edo Sie, Master Flamenco Teacher and Dancer. After the third year, she began to take direction under Azucena Vega, Director of Soul y Duende and Mr. Sie’s wife. She was asked to join Soul y Duende as a performing student. Her performance experience includes performing with Las Riojas Flamenco Group and Olé Olé Puppet and Dance Theatre (now Clinard Dance Theatre) as a corps dancer in their production of Quest for Theseus at the Vittum Theater. Other teachers included, Michelle Nascimento, Chiara Mangiameli, Libby Komaiko, Vida Peral, Timo Lozano, Marija Temo, and Emilia Galvez.

Diane has studied at Amor de Dios in Madrid, Spain. Teachers include, Maria Magdelena, La Truco, Carmela Greco, and Nuria del Rio.

Diane’s dance experience also includes competing in International Latin, Pro/Am with teacher/partner, Allen Desterhaft.

She is currently a resident of Naperville and continues her studies with world renowned Master teachers.

Ms. Coronado-Campbell performs around the Chicagoland area.  Her dance experience has allowed her to collaborate with artists and musicians outside the Flamenco realm.
