After Hours Film Society's Anim8 Virtual Student Film Festival

Arts DuPage Month Perk: A FREE virtual presentation of the winners of the Anim8 Student Film Festival for all to enjoy!

After Hours Film Society presents Anim8, its 19th annual student film festival. The virtual program not only to ensures your safety but also enables access to everyone who wants to see this exciting compilation of films.

Seventy-five students from sixteen countries competed for awards this year and the entries were stellar! The top eighteen submissions, as selected by the judges, are at the heart of the festival. What you’ll see are the efforts of students ranging in ages from 10 to 45 years old – what you’ll get is an insightful and intimate look at the issues they are facing: themes like discovering love, finding acceptance, overcoming fear, and dealing with loss – it is all here!
