Colorful abstracted art created by the printmaking process of monotypes. It is a single print transferred by a press onto paper. The process results in a painterly surface and texture that you cannot get in any other way

Maureen McKee is featuring her Monotypes at the Gary Brown Gallery & Studio in Aurora. Meet the artist at Aurora’s First Friday - May 7th from 6-9 pm and the 2nd Saturday, May 8 from 1-5 pm. The exhibit is displayed from April 27 - May 21. Gallery Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1pm to 5pm, The gallery is located at 7 S. Broadway, Aurora, IL
