Festival of Lights and Tree Sale

Cosley Zoo has four varieties of trees ranging from 3’ to 12’! Wreaths, greens, and garland are also available for purchase. While at the zoo take a stroll through the winter wonderland featuring 20,000+ twinkling lights and a herd of whimsical lighted animal figures. Also, be sure to stop in the Wild Side gift shop for a great selection of unique holiday gifts. All proceeds from this event benefit Cosley Zoo.

The Festival of Lights and Tree Sale begins the day after Thanksgiving (11/27/2020) and continues through December 30. The zoo is open 9A-9P daily, with the last entry time at 8:30P; Christmas lights come on at 3P.

Zoo admission is free during the Festival of Lights and Tree Sales, however timed entry reservations are required in order to comply with Phase 4 guidelines of Restore Illinois. Donations are greatly appreciated.

Phase 4 Guidelines

This event will follow Phase 4 guidelines of the Restore Illinois Plan.

Capacity in the zoo is limited. All individuals will need a reserved ticket. Walk-up tickets will not be available.
You must enter at your reserved entry time. Early and late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated.
Face coverings should be worn by all zoo visitors over the age of two when at least 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained between non-household groups.

Tickets for Festival of Lights & Tree Sale will be available at 5:00 pm November 13, 2020.

For those who prefer a low contact option, the following are available*:

Curbside pick-up of tree and/or greens preselected by Cosley Zoo staff
Cosley Zoo staff preselect your tree and greens and deliver them
