Featuring violinist Gert Kumi and pianist Daniel Paul Horn
A native of Albania, Gert Kumi completed his education as a scholarship student at Juilliard and then at the Menuhin Academy in Switzerland. Mr. Kumi has performed as soloist, chamber and orchestral musician across Europe, United States, Asia and Africa. He is the head of the string program at Anderson University in Indiana where he is also Associate Professor of Violin and conductor of the University Orchestra. He formerly taught at Nyack College in New York, and Grace College and Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. Daniel Paul Horn, Professor of Piano at Wheaton College, and Mr. Kumi both taught for many years at the Masterworks Festival where they have collaborated in chamber music.
