College of DuPage Director of Theater Connie Canaday Howard directs the Tony-Award-winning musical that thrust theater icon Ben Vereen into the limelight. “Pippin,” originally conceived as a student musical, uses the premise of a performance troupe, led by a “Leading Player” to tell the story of Pippin, the Hunchback son of a young prince and his search for passion and significance.
