Illinois Watercolor Society Show

The Illinois Watercolor Society was founded in 1981, but upholds an artistic tradition dating back to 1866.  Today, with over 180 members, the Illinois Watercolor society sponsors both a national show and a members’ invitational exhibit each year; also, they have recently partnered with the Oakbrook Library and hold bi-monthly meetings in the library which are free and open to the public.

The juror for the 2017 IWS members’ show will be Ratindra Das A.W.S. (DF), N>W>S>; who is a Dolphin Fellow and a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and six other societies.  A holder of Master Status, he has served as a selection juror for the American Watercolor Society and conducts workshops throughout the world.  He has also published “Watercolor With An Eye for Design”.
