This course introduces you to materials, methods, and tools of oil painting while you develop observational painting skills.

Demonstrations on stretching a canvas, laying out a palette, color mixing using co-primaries, options for mediums and working with various paint application techniques provide students with the fundamentals of the medium and color, providing you a strong foundation for future painting.
