Cheryl Rausch

I am a professional photographer and illustrator with two great passions in my life: art and nature-both human and animal. Combining the two has been my biggest goal over my 25+ year art career, and it has provided much creative inspiration over the years. When I spot a visual that stirs the soul, such as the sweet and curious stares of formerly hidden baby squirrels or the personal anguish of a lone stranger, my goal is to visually capture that feeling to the best of my abilities.

The result is a life-like quality of my work that I hope reflects the character and quiet beauty of the subject, whether it be in photographs or in illustrations. Ultimately, my joy and satisfaction comes from the constant evolution of my style and the never-ending quest to visually interpret the beauty and wonder I see in our world.
